The current model is the Kindle 3. Key features include:

•    A microphone.
•    Free PDF document delivery – To email a PDF to your Kindlejust add @ free.kindle.com onto your email address. The file can only be downloaded over Wi-Fi.
•    Wi-Fi Audible delivery – Audible audio books can now be transferred to the Kindle over Wi-Fi, no computer necessary.
•    More PDF enhancements – The PDF reader now supports six contrast options, and a cursor can be displayed on the screen to highlight words.
•    Web browser enhancements - Kindle 3 can zoom, and fit page width to the device.
•    Two dictionaries – The Oxford Dictionary of English and The New Oxford American Dictionary.

Kindle Four is in the pipeline but yet to be released.

How much are Kindle Books? What is the cost of Kindle books?

Kindle ebooks range in price from $0 (free) to over $100. In many cases the author sets their own price. Old books that have passed their copyright period are usually free, and there are some fabulous classics you can download. Some of the most popular free Kindle books are those by Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, HG Wells, Jules Verne, Lewis Carroll, Rudyard Kipling, Jack London and others.

Most Kindle books are under $10 and many are under $5.

How to Find Free Kindle Books / Free Kindle Ebooks Download

Step 1: Go to www.Amazon.com

Step 2: In the search box, use the down arrow to select “Kindle Store”

Step 3: In the search section to the right enter “free kindle books” and press “Go”

Step 4: On the right of the webpage there is a “Sort by” box. Use the arrow to select “Price: low to high”.

All of the free books will come up!


Lending Kindle Books
